Located in Midland, MidMichigan Medical Center services much of central Michigan. The Medical Center provides coordinated programs in urgent care, hospital care, home care, nursing home care, managed care and wellness. The mission of MidMichigan Medical Center is, simply put,
"To provide a lifetime of trusted care."
As a tax-exempt, non-profit organization, the Medical Center is lead by a board of directors and a 120-person corporate membership. Any extra revenue is returned into the system to provide care, upgrade services and pay employee's fair and competitive wages.
The Health Center has 360 hospital beds, 200 nursing home beds, 20 assisted living beds, 220 physicians, 3,400 employees and over 900 volunteers. The Urgent Care Centeris located nearby. There are several other affiliates, which include services in Gladwin, Clare and Mt. Pleasant. The Center will soon be recieving an addition to its emergency department.
